A groundbreaking study will research the role of the performing arts in improving health in the community.
Through this unique partnership, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Florida Hospital strive to support research, curriculum development and delivery of a leading arts and wellness education program to further the health, well-being and quality of care for all of greater Orlando’s citizens, and serve as a national exemplar for the growing field.
AMS was engaged to guide strategic planning for this partnership, and has conducted research on industry best practices and exemplars, an exploration of the local context and opportunities, and supported development of an initial study focused on caregivers and persons with dementia. The study includes an eight-week class in theater at Dr. Phillips Center. To learn more about the study, click here.
