AMS Principal Steven Wolff participated on a panel moderated by Karen Brooks Hopkins, Senior Advisor at Onassis Foundation, USA, Inc. and former Senior Fellow of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to discuss Anchor Cultural Institutions: Maximizing Community Impact. Fellow panelists included Shey Rivera, Artistic Director of AS220.
The session examined case studies of three different kinds of anchor institutions and delved into how performing arts organizations of all sizes, varieties, urban and rural, can engage in effective partnerships and be more influential in supporting community revitalization.
The session took place at APAP’s annual conference in NYC, Saturday, January 13, 2018, 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM, in Hilton Concourse B.
