Bill Blake is AMS’s West Coast Director, returning to the firm in 2016 after having previously been with the firm as a Project Manager from 2000-2005. Prior to rejoining AMS, Bill served as the Managing Director of B Street Theatre in Sacramento, a professional theatre company serving youth and adult audiences with over 450 performances per year, plus educational programs and classes. In addition to driving the diverse activity of the company, Bill led the effort to develop B Street’s new $25million mixed-use performing arts complex.
With AMS, Bill has been involved in over 50 consulting and planning projects, including strategic plans, business plans and feasibility studies for museums, historic theaters, and performing arts centers.
Prior to joining AMS in 2000 he was the General Manager of the Everett Performing Arts Center and an administrator at Village Theatre, both in Washington State. He has also worked as an arts educator for Seattle Children’s Theatre and Idyllwild Arts Academy in Southern California.
Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from Goucher College in Baltimore and an undergraduate degree in Theatre Production from Principia College in Illinois.
