The City of Providence, Rhode Island's Department of Art, Culture + Tourism has retained AMS Planning & Research to research the feasibility of a Greater Providence Cultural Authority.  This proposed entity, which is an intitiative described in its cultural plan, could coordinate and/or provide shared operational functions to a consortium of arts organizations.

To execute this scope of work, AMS will combine research with a series of workshops geared towards building consensus on the Cultural Authority's purpose and key functions.  It will then develop a multi-year operating model based on the research findings and workshop outcomes.
